How much should I actually buy?

Recipes ask for 350 g of rice. Shops sell 500 g bags. This calculator does the maths, so your shopping list says what to put in the trolley.

Pack sizes vary by brand and shop. Check the shelf, and adjust.

Questions

Why not just buy the exact amount?

Most shops don’t sell it. Buying in packs means leftovers, and the trick is planning them into another meal.

How much should I cook per person?
Can it do a whole week at once?
